Beer Garden Girl work in Cambodia
I do not know the definition of “Beer Garden Girl”, which is the new term called since the beer gardens or restaurants mushroom almost throughout Cambodia. Now, I just try to determine the term of “Beer Garden Girl” which is the kind of girls who serve or work at night at Beer Garden, not like the girls or women who serve as waitresses at restaurants.
Most of garden owners always need the beautiful girls or women to work at their restaurants in order to server or attract clients. Most of girls wear the restaurant uniform provided by owners. Their uniforms are like the Khmer traditional clothing. It is not the kind of the sexy clothing.
The girls who are working as beer garden girls are to greet the arrival of guests at the entry gate and then accompany them to table. By the way, if clients like someone to sit with, those girls have to go and sit with them in order to entertain or drink with them. Most of girls can drink beer or wine.
The girls’ wages are paid monthly by restaurant owners. Meanwhile, the girls would be able to get tips from clients who they sit with. Less or more amount of money is up to the guests. If they are the rich or the powerful, they will offer big amount.
While you approach the beer garden’s entrance you will see the girls sitting in front of restaurant and standing up to welcome the arrival of guests.
